I’m Luca Pelucchi a photographer specialized in weddings, engagements, couples and families.
I live in Italy, near Lake Como.
Today I am a photographer, however I haven't always been one.
My background is in interior and product design.
I don't have a dream story, like "I took pictures with my father's camera since I was a child" or "I've always loved photography."
I discovered photography quite late in life.
My Story
I discovered photography at university, where I encountered it for the first time and fell in love with it.
I started taking photos on the street. I wandered around Milan and spent entire days photographing people, moments, situations. It relaxed me; it was a meditative moment.
Over time, I realized that I loved taking photographs, so I signed up for courses, read books, watched hours and hours of tutorials and documentaries.
Then the day came when I decided: "I'm leaving everything, I want to be a photographer!"
It was the best decision I ever made, not easy because I gave up stability for something uncertain, but today I can say: it was worth it!
My Approach
I like to observe and find the extraordinary in the ordinary. Capture the emotions, the gestures, the moments.
I will not turn your day in a photoshoot, but I will guide you through.
Always present in the moment and at the same time I’m discreet.
Documentary and candid style with a touch of editorial is my way to tell stories.
My interest is to tell your story of what’s happening in front of my eyes.
You don’t have to be models, knowing how to pose: I don’t care and I don’t expect that.
I want that the people reveal themself for what they truly are.
